Elizabeth and Kevin’s love for one another is immediately apparent upon spending any time at all with the two of them together. You can see it in their eyes and feel it in how they interact with one another. They’re sweet, thoughtful, and loving to one another in a way that quickly indicates that they will share a long and happy future together.
Working with Elizabeth to plan their wedding was a true pleasure. She took the lead on all wedding details while Kevin was deployed to Afghanistan for a large portion of their engagement. However, she never excluded him from having a hand in the wedding planning. They were seemingly always able to communicate and collaborate on the big decisions. However, a fiancé on the opposite side of the globe wasn’t even Elizabeth’s only obstacle. She also planned the wedding from Georgia; but, she never seemed overwhelmed at any point in the process. She was the bride of every wedding planner’s dreams!
On the morning of the big day, Elizabeth and Kevin spent their time getting ready at a condo in Navarre Beach. They were surrounded by friends and family who were on hand to assist with any necessary details. The wonderful Amber Ellis of Vibe Inc. Studios assisted with Elizabeth and matron of honor Emily’s hair and makeup. And it didn’t seem like any one was feeling absolutely any nerves as they spent the morning laughing and relaxing.
After Elizabeth put on her gorgeous gown, she and Kevin shared a beautiful first look on a dock – all of which was expertly captured by Zac and second-shooter Cameron of Zac Green Photography. Both photographers had the bride and groom laughing throughout the day as they took tons of mind-blowing photos.
At the designated time, the wedding party moved to Liza Jackson Park in Fort Walton Beach via a car provided by D’Luxe Limousines for a ceremony on the bay. The team from Supposey had beautifully set the space with an arbor, benches, and tons of gorgeous florals. While the weather had looked shaky all week, Elizabeth and Kevin made the gutsy (and ultimately VERY wise) decision to move forward with their outdoor ceremony. Family friend Ben Ruzicka officiated over the nuptials and included lots of special details about this great couple. While the wind was blowing, the day (and resulting photos) couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Following the intimate ceremony, guests moved locations to WaterVue at Brooks Street for the waterfront cocktail hour and reception. Here again, Supposey had outdone themselves with a venue full of gorgeous florals covering ever surface. Nancy’s Catering & Events provided lots of great options for the bride and groom who are lovers of all things seafood – including a baked oyster station, a low country boil, and lots more.
Elizabeth and Kevin cut a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and groom’s cake provided by the team at Blue Jay’s Bakery. Afterwards, their guests spent the evening dancing and celebrating along to the soundtrack provided by DJ Sterling Barnes of Powell Entertainment. When the departure time sadly arrived, guests lined a walkway and showered the bride and groom with ecofetti. Overall, it was a gorgeous night to remember filled with meaningful details all in celebration of a very special couple.
Thanks again to Elizabeth and Kevin for allowing us to be part of such a beautiful day. Best wishes from our entire team for a long, happy future together!!
And special thanks to Zac Green Photography for all the gorgeous photos!
